Dr. Raina Ferzoco, MD is board Certified in Medical Oncology and Hematology, and by the American Board of Internal Medicine. She attended University of Florida College of Medicine, completed her Internship & Residency at Georgetown University/Washington Hospital Center, Washington DC and had a Fellowship at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minnesota. Dr. Ferzoco has special clinical interest in breast cancer, lymphoma, lung cancer, gastrointestinal, cancers and blood disorders. She believes in patient-centered, evidence-based, compassionate care. Dr. Ferzoco tries to provide the best and latest treatment options to her patients while ensuring that their care is personalized and holistic.

Melinda White, DO
Melinda grew up in Soquel and graduated from Soquel High School. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies at UCLA, and studied for one year at the University of Granada, in Granada , Spain. She attended medical school at Touro University College of Osteopathic Medicine, and then completed her residency in at California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco. She is board certified in internal medicine. Mindy practices primary care and traditional osteopathic manipulation in Capitola with Dominican Medical Group. She is married and has two young daughters. She enjoys swimming, zumba, pilates, and traveling.

Melissa DeVera, RD, cWC is a Registered Dietitian and Certified Wellness Coach. She received her Bachelors in Science degree in Nutrition and Clinical Dietetics from the University of California at Berkeley. She has been working with the overweight population for over 20 years. Along with nutrition counseling, she provides health and wellness coaching. Her passion is supporting people to reach optimal health. Her hobbies include salsa dancing and rock climbing.

Martha Stewart practices sleep medicine, specializing in cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia. After receiving her nursing degree from Hartford State College in Maryland, she worked as a registered nurse for 15 years. She later attended the Primary Care Associate Program at Stanford, earning her advanced nursing degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner and her certification as a Physician Assistant. Martha joined Sleep Health MD in 2013.

Karen Gosling received her undergraduate degree in Sport Science at the Chelsea School of Human Movement in England, a Master’s degree in Health, Physical Education and Recreation from Syracuse University, and graduated from Physical Therapy School at USC in 1993.
She worked in the Spinal Injury Center at Rancho Los Amigos hospital in Los Angeles before moving to Santa Cruz and starting work at Dominican in 1996.
One of Karen’s passions is wellness, and she works with the outpatient lifestyle management programs, the PEP community health programs and our employee wellness programs to ensure that we have a full range of services to support our community along the continuum of care.
